Lyngvig Fyr was built in 1906 and is the youngest lighthouse in Denmark. It is located in Nørre Lyngvig, a few miles north of Hvide Sande and was built after a Norwegian Association claimed to the Danish government that the existing lighthouses are easy to confuse.

The top of the lighthouse is accessible and gives a nice view over the North Sea.
After the Danish authorities started automating the lighthouses, the last lighthouse guard „Nedergaard“ of Lyngvig Fyr ended his duty in 1965.
